FAQs
Will this dual size fit me?
We understand that our bodies evolve as we take this magical journey through life, therefore our garments are designed with future-proofing in mind. You can go up or down a few dress sizes and your piece will still fit and feel fabulous. Clothes that work around you, not the other way round.
Our garments are designed with an oversized look in mind. There is ease in fit which creates comfort and flexibility in the garment. This is why we treat our standard block as a dual sized garment that best fits a UK size 10 - 22.
Each listing has the finished measurements of the garment, which means you can compare them against your own body to check how much ease there will be and if it’s the right garment for you.
If you are out of our standard size bracket and would like a piece from the collection, or have any other requirements around body shape please get in touch.
Although we no longer make complete custom orders in terms of styling and design, inclusiveness is of paramount importance to us and body shape and size is our specialist area.
How do I take care of my garment?
-
Unless otherwise specified we recommend a first approach of spot cleaning your garment, secondary to this, we recommend hand washing.
-
None of our pieces should be tumble dried; they are fine to be dried outside on the line, on a clothes maiden or on a radiator.
With knitwear, we would recommend laying your wet garment out on a large towel and roll it up like a sausage, this will gently squeeze out any excess water. Repeat this several times and then lay flat on top of a clothes maiden or radiator being careful to fully support the garment.
-
All jackets can be stored hung in a wardrobe or folded in a drawer. With the linens it will be better to keep them hung to avoid any deep creases. Knitwear should be stored folded in a drawer as it can have the tendency to stretch over time when on a hanger.
-
We like to think of our garments as “forever pieces” that will be cherished for a lifetime, hopefully several! To prolong the life of your garment, look out for signs of wear and tear and try to repair them sooner than later.
Please get in touch if you have any questions around this, we are happy to offer expert advice around restoration and repair.
