Created from a selection of vintage cotton handkerchiefs, each piece has been patchworked together, carefully hand pieced as to not loose any of the beautiful textiles scalloped edges.

A symbol of love and fidelity the handkerchief was once used as a courting accessory. Of past lovers would embroidered images and messages as forms of flirting to woo their potential beloved, passing the message between themselves with each encounter. The Former and far more romantic version of the txt message !

100% cotton, 100% recycled this piece is a beautiful light weight airy garment, a perfect layering piece.

Each of these jackets will be completely bespoke and made to order by myself for you in my studio in Derbyshire England.

This piece is made to best fit a UK 8-22, however as this piece is made to order I can custom make this to your requirements.
